Lekki is a major Nigerian city located to the east of Lagos city. - Bay Lounge
This impressive outdoor restaurant is located at the waterfront in Lekki Phase 1. Bay lounge caters for both indoor and outdoor dining. The lounge is spacious, replete with a big parking space. Before getting into how good the food is, good things have been said about the excellent customer service at Bay Lounge. The food there ranges from spring rolls to prawns to different flavours of soup and swallow to sumptuous assorted seafood. Drinks can be gotten in “shots” at very affordable rates or one can go gung-ho and buy the whole bottle! A bottle of cognac or liquor costs between 11,000 – 25,000 naira at Bay Lounge Lekki. There is also a live band on deck churning out delightful music.

Located inside Circle Mall, Rhapsody’s is a classy restaurant that has a wide array of food and drinks. Rhapsody’s offers a natural ambience which is “lively yet effortless, simple yet delicious, stylish yet relaxed”, just as their website says. True to their claim, their meals – starters, main and the cocktails – are all sophisticated yet enjoyable. This comes at a price though – a minimum of 10,000 naira for two people.

3. Brizz Karaoke Lounge
Located in the heart of Lekki, Brizz Karaoke Lounge offers chilled drinks accompanied by the soulful voices of wannabe pop stars. You can decide to go alone, with a partner or as a group. There’s an opportunity to mingle and mix with the crowd. The drinks are relatively cheap and cold.

4. Sailors Lounge
An outdoor restaurant on top of water — how majestic! Dining at Sailors Lounge gives one the feeling of being on a proper ship, sailing towards some beautiful dream. With a lovely view of the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge, watching the sunset from the lounge is nothing short of breathtaking. There’s a live band on the last Friday of every month and Comedy Club every Thursday. There’s also the bonus of free WiFi connection. The food here is a bit pricey but it’s well worth it. Your budget for two should be around 15,000 naira.

5. Switch 1922 Lounge
A lounge with good food and good music at very pocket-friendly rates. There are both an indoor sitting area and an outdoor space here. One can also watch football matches while dining! The music is not too loud and their service is decent. They serve a variety of Nigerian and African food. Their “kelewele” dish which is fried plantain seasoned with spices is a crowd favorite along with peppered snails and goat head.

Good music, good food, cold drinks! Xovar’s menu is known for its consistency. There is a wheelchair-accessible car park and entrance. The cocktails are delightful with an assortment of food to choose from. Singaporean chicken noodles, goat meat and peppered fish are the main highlight.

7. Grandlux Lounge
Grandlux Lounge is located in a serene environment with an aesthetically pleasing interior. The ambiance is calm and peaceful, the food is scrumptious but what has got everyone going about this place is the interior design. It is perfect for taking loads of lovely pictures so better come with your phone fully charged. The meal is affordable, with just 6,000 naira covering two people and 8,000 naira for a buffet of one.

This is a lounge frequented by the older crowd. It is a decent spot to watch a live football match. There is a snooker table where customers can play for free. The music is not noisy and there’s adequate security on ground. The chicken suya and chicken and chips are the highlights on the menu. The prices are quite affordable too.

9. BarBar Cutz and Cocktails
Get a haircut and get a drink next door! Or get a drink while waiting to get a haircut!! As the name suggests, it’s a barbershop and a bar in one! While drinking you can order for a plate of pepper soup or chicken and chips.

Get good music, good food and good drinks at the Beer Barn Lekki. A bottle of beer is just 1,000 naira. Chicken and chips, barbecued fish, suya, pepper soup are on the menu.
